Gunawan is a co-founder as well as Senior Partner of Djakarta Legal Practice. Prior to establishing the firm, Gunawan was the General Counsel of one of the largest state owned construction companies in Indonesia over a period of two decades. This experience has provided him with a unique understanding of the legal issues that arise in Indonesian Government owned companies. Accordingly, Gunawan has built a strong reputation in the provision of legal services for infrastructure and building projects both within Indonesia as well as assisting Indonesian State Owned Enterprises in undertaking projects internationally. In addition, Gunawan has a well known reputation for assisting private corporate and Indonesian State Owned Enterprise clients with legal services related to financial and capital market transactions such as M&A, Debt Restructuring and Asset Disposal.
Kharisma Fitriandika has been a legal practicioner since graduating from the Faculty of Law of the University of indonesia in 2009. She is a Junior Partner of Djakarta Legal Practice and her primary expertise relates to the areas of environmental law, construction and infrastructure, property, energy, M&A and project finance as well as foreign investment. Kharisma has wide experience in handling international transactions involving both indonesian and multinational companies.
Zaky Tandjung is a co-founder as well as the Managing Partner of Djakarta Legal Practice. He has been providing legal advisory services in the Indonesian market since 1993. Prior to establishing Djakarta Legal Practice, Zaky was a founding partner of a leading Indonesian law firm associated with a prominent foreign UK law firm. Zaky Tandjung's primary expertise relates to general corporate and regulatory matters, including investigations and corporate litigation, M&A, and corporate financing. He has a strong reputation in dispute resolution, arbitration, and bankruptcy matters.
Bill Sinclair has been an advisor with Djakarta Legal Practice since 2021 and works with the Partners of the Firm in providing services related to infrastructure and building projects. He has extensive experience with Construction Companies as well as global Consulting Engineering and Project Management firms operating in the Asia Pacific. Bill has spent more than 30 years living and working in Indonesia and has a strong reputation within the construction industry in roles including Project Manager, project Director and Company Director. His experience includes Buildings, Transportation infrastructure (Railways, Highways and Airports), Power (Hydro Geothermal & Thermal), Mining & Metallurgy, Industrial as well as Water & Environment.
